Internal flow is a monthly gathering of free form dance for self-exploration, personal and collective healing, and celebration. A gathering with family, friends and people of all ages, and from all walks of life to honour what has been used as community medicine by many cultures around the world since ancient times.

The gatherings inspire caring for self and others, playfulness, and creativity. Many new friendships are made which extend into our ordinary world, fostering connections and building our community in a spiritual environment that respects all wisdom traditions.

No special dance background is necessary, we just infuse our love of the dance, You may see participants in complete stillness, practicing yoga, drumming or rattling, leaping and playing, moving on the floor in contact improvisation, or sounding and clapping in spontaneous response to one another or the music.

The dance ritual itself is held in non-verbal reverence, talking will take us out of the wondrous space that is offered to invite the deeper parts of our being to rise to consciousness. Here we find a new way of expressing that is different from our ordinary day-to-day communications. We may meet each other eye-to-eye, hand-to-hand, and heart to heart or simply notice one another in passing. There are no expectations and we encourage authenticity, trust, exploration, and the freedom to emotionally express oneself.  Dress to move, Dance and be danced!

Included at these gatherings: Centring breath work, mantra and Kirtan. There is time to share from the heart, stories/-inspiring quotes.

The event will end with silent meditation at 6pm after a sharing of food delight and tea/chai- all included in the cost

The Effect of Lunar Energy

Despite being 238,900 miles from Earth, the Moon affects us and our planet in many ways. Tides, for example, are known to be affected by the gravitational pull of the Moon. Water that faces the Moon is pulled towards it strongly; water which faces away from the Moon is pulled significantly less. Even the water beneath the Earth’s surface (groundwater that constitutes the water table) as well as water in plants and trees is affected by its position on Earth relative to the Moon. More..
