About Andrea

andreaMy wish for humanity is for the heart centered recognition of one another from the truth of our being. My most passionate aim is to assist as many people as possible in their return to heart wisdom, to tune into nature's cycles, gain peace of mind and share that with each person. Om Shanti.

Since 1995, Andrea has been absorbed in self-transforming spiritual practise, with over 14 years’ experience in both classical Raja (Royal) Astanga Yoga and Hatha Yoga paths. She is dedicated to teaching the transformational techniques of Yoga and has created her own Nature's Rhythm yoga that assists in attuning you to planetary and universal energies, enabling those on a spiritual quest to maximize their potential and embody their fullness of being.

Andrea has been attuned to Reiki at Mastership level. She also has a keen interest in body psychotherapy and other forms of movement, such as Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms, Osho’s Dynamic/Active Meditation’s & Amoda Maa Jeevan's Ecstatic Trance Dance all which have led her to facilitate her own "Internal flow" dance journey workshops.
As well as the aforementioned systems, she has been deeply influenced by the Raja Yoga meditations led by The Brahma Kumaris world spiritual university and in 2004 she began to practise Gongyo - the Lotus sutra mantra of the SGI-UK ~Nischiren Daishonin~ Buddhists.

Within that time there continued to be a longing for a deeper experience of Bhakti yoga (The Yoga of devotion) which led her on to regular Kirtan gatherings offered through a family band called Goma, and to the teachings of Shri Haidakhan Babaji. She has been greatly honoured in receiving darshan blessings and teachings in reverence from Mātā Amritanandamayī Devi (Amma) and from Mother Meera on their annual visits to the UK.

Some other influences along the way are Jai Uttal, Daniel Paul & Nubia with whom she has studied The Art and Practice of Kirtan. Solara An Ra who has guided Andrea through her channelling and manifesting workshop to connect with her own guides within and Ashera Hart of UniPhi with whom she has completed the study of the healing sound frequencies (solfeggio) and has co-joined in a harmonious venture to bring about Uniphi Yoga.

The frequencies of the Zobet correspond to the mathematics of creation and are a direct way of helping the body and your whole being align on all levels and they also help the body bring in a higher vibration particularly in preparation for the shift currently happening on the planet. In these times for manifesting, Andrea and Ashera have come together to add the sacred geometry of sound to that of yoga asanas, this both improves the practice and yields a result that harmonises discordant energy, promoting a rememberance of our unification from deep within.

"Love and Serve all humanity, Assist everyone". – Babaji

BWOyogaAndrea has been accredited as a Yoga Elder by the Independent Yoga Network and is listed on the Yoga register. The wealth of knowledge gained through many great Teachers and Masters, also includes 3 year tutelage with UK governing body -The British Wheel of Yoga.

Being highly intuitive and in tune with compassionate heart wisdom has led her to develop her own style of teaching to follow and her aim now is to offer these gifts to other teachers and students.

The Effect of Lunar Energy

Despite being 238,900 miles from Earth, the Moon affects us and our planet in many ways. Tides, for example, are known to be affected by the gravitational pull of the Moon. Water that faces the Moon is pulled towards it strongly; water which faces away from the Moon is pulled significantly less. Even the water beneath the Earth’s surface (groundwater that constitutes the water table) as well as water in plants and trees is affected by its position on Earth relative to the Moon. More..
